Born February 2nd in West Philadelphia, Jazzmine Harmon moved to New Castle, Delaware at a young age where she grew up and called it home. At age 6, her parents discovered she was blessed with the ability to sing and dance and enrolled her into the historical Christina Cultural Arts Center in Wilmington, Delaware. While there, she received Opera vocal lessons while learning different genres of dance including: Hip-Hop, Ballet, Modern and Jazz. Simultaneously, her health struggled as she found tumors in her thyroid. Which ultimately affected her singing voice. While having to spend some time re-training her vocals, she cultivated the ability to become a successful female rapper.
Going by the stage name “Kitty Monroee,” she has now made a name for herself as a rapper, singer and dancer. Kitty’s hit single, “Blue 42,” released in October 2019 catapulted to radio stations and clubs worldwide placing her on Billboard charts. She eventually made her first TV appearance on the popular Netflix competition series “Rhythm + Flow.” The experience opened many doors and opportunities to help further her musical journey. Kitty’s single, “Espresso”produced by New Orleans producer DeeDay, continues to make waves as listeners from all-around the globe tune in! She now strives to not only be a successful artist, but also inspire others to never give up and follow their dreams no matter what circumstances.
